A debit card is a plastic payment card that can be used instead of cash when making purchases. It is similar to a credit card, but unlike a credit card, the money is immediately transferred directly from your checking account when performing a transaction.
Bank debit cards deduct money directly from your bank account with lower fees, convenience and same protections of credit cards.
There are two types of debit cards issued by SNB:
Consumer VISA Debit Card
Business VISA Debit Card
A Business Debit Card must be requested by an authorized signer. You can set and modify Business Debit Card spending limits for employees for ATM and POS transactions. Business name and employee name(s) will be embossed on the card.

There are several ways to protect your debit card.
Once you have a bank account and debit card with us, please go to your Apple Store or Google Play to download SNB SecurLock App. You will be able to track your debit card transactions, disable and re-enable your debit card if you believe your card has been lost or stolen.
Also, enroll in eAlerts to receive electronic messages regarding recent account activity that is delivered thru SMS or email alerts to your cell phone. Call our 24-hours Card Services at 1-800-500-1044 if you need to report a lost or stolen Debit Card.
Or by using our Tokenization product, that provides an additional layer of defense against fraud, a token can be stored in your phone and used in the merchant environment in place of your debit card and PAN.
